Job Overview

99Technologies is looking for a Printer Repair Technician to handle service, maintenance, and repairs of a wide range of printers including inkjet, laser, dot matrix, and multifunction devices. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of printer hardware, error diagnostics, and on-site service etiquette. You’ll support clients by ensuring uninterrupted print operations both at the office and in the field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair technical faults in laser, inkjet, and dot matrix printers

• Perform printer maintenance, cleaning, and cartridge handling

• Replace or repair fuser units, rollers, print heads, and sensors

• Resolve printing issues such as paper jams, ghosting, connectivity problems

• Install drivers and configure printers on client systems/networks

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance visits under AMC contracts

• Maintain logs of repairs, parts usage, and customer feedback

• Travel to client locations for on-site repairs and support

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in repairing different types of printers

• Good understanding of printer mechanisms, parts, and error codes

• Familiarity with network/shared printer configuration

• Ability to troubleshoot firmware, driver, and connectivity issues

• Skilled in component-level repairs and part replacement

• Professional communication and time management

• Readiness for field visits and AMC assignments

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (depending on skills & experience)

• Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, with on-site service coverage
