Job Overview

99Technologies is looking for a Cabling Helper / Assistant Technician to assist senior technicians during field installations and maintenance of IT infrastructure. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in IT services with a focus on practical work like cable laying, device setup support, and basic tool handling. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate with a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laying network cables (CAT6), CCTV cables, and power lines

• Support technicians in installing routers, switches, cameras, and other equipment

• Help with drilling, mounting, and managing conduit/cable routing

• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites

• Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite

• Learn and follow basic wiring and installation procedures

• Report to team leader and follow daily work instructions

• Handle minor tasks independently as trained

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of electrical safety and tool usage

• Willingness to work on ladders, rooftops, and different field locations

• Ability to follow instructions and assist proactively

• Physically fit and energetic with attention to detail

• Positive attitude, punctuality, and team coordination

• Bonus: Familiarity with IT components or prior cabling experience

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month (based on performance and growth)

• Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad + on-site assignments
