Job Overview

99Technologies is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Recovery Specialist to lead data retrieval operations from damaged or corrupted storage devices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various data recovery tools and techniques across HDDs, SSDs, pen drives, SD cards, and crashed systems. You’ll be responsible for handling sensitive customer data with confidentiality, accuracy, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and recover data from hard disks, SSDs, USB drives, SD cards, and RAID systems

• Handle logical recovery (deleted files, formatted drives) and basic physical recovery

• Use tools like R-Studio, EaseUS, WinHex, and hardware-level recovery platforms

• Evaluate device health and identify recoverable media

• Clone drives, create disk images, and work in read-only environments

• Generate recovery reports and maintain logs of attempts and results

• Maintain data privacy and follow non-disclosure protocols

• Coordinate with clients regarding cost estimates and approval before recovery

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of file systems (NTFS, FAT32, exFAT), partition structures, and recovery algorithms

• Experience with data recovery software and drive imaging tools

• Understanding of drive behavior, S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics, and firmware issues

• Problem-solving mindset with patience and precision

• Ability to work with damaged or unstable media under controlled conditions

• Optional: Knowledge of clean-room handling and PCB-level repair

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on recovery capability & tools experience)

• Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
