Job Overview

99Technologies is hiring a Networking Technician to manage installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks for our clients. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong hands-on knowledge of networking hardware, basic server setup, and a problem-solving attitude. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth network operations both in-house and at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure routers, switches, access points, and network cabling

• Perform LAN/WAN setup, IP configuration, and internet troubleshooting

• Setup Wi-Fi zones and optimize wireless signal strength

• Handle small server/workgroup setup and basic firewall configurations

• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (physical and logical)

• Assist in CCTV IP setup and DVR/NVR network integration

• Maintain documentation of network topology and configurations

• Conduct regular network health checks and preventive maintenance

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of networking concepts: IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, etc.

• Experience with SOHO/SMB routers, switches, and Wi-Fi setup

• Familiarity with crimping, patch panel termination, and cable management

• Understanding of subnetting, ping/traceroute diagnostics, and firewall basics

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware or network outages

• Communication skills and ability to coordinate onsite work

• Optional: Knowledge of Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, or Cisco devices

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹13,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and certifications)

• Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad + client site visits as needed
