Job Overview

99Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Laptop Repair Technician (Chip Level) to join our technical support team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing laptops at the motherboard/chip level, including BGA work, component replacements, and advanced troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should be experienced, quality-focused, and able to work independently on complex repair jobs.

Responsibilities

• Perform chip-level diagnostics and repairs on laptop motherboards

• Identify faults in power ICs, charging circuits, GPU, and BGA components

• Use tools like BGA rework stations, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering kits

• Replace damaged components such as ICs, connectors, and sockets

• Troubleshoot laptop display, charging, and booting issues

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the repair bench and tools

• Keep logs of all repairs, test results, and component usage

• Coordinate with the support team for service flow and delivery timelines

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of laptop internal architecture and circuit diagrams

• Proven experience with chip-level soldering, reballing, and PCB repair

• Familiarity with BGA machines, soldering/desoldering stations, and diagnostic tools

• Ability to read schematics and identify faults precisely

• Detail-oriented approach with high accuracy in repair quality

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Understanding of ESD safety and professional work practices

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on expertise and speed)

• Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Workshop in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad
