Job Overview

99Technologies is hiring a Computer Hardware Technician to handle hardware diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for computers, laptops, and IT peripherals. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, hands-on with assembling and troubleshooting systems, and comfortable with both in-house and field service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure desktop computers and servers

• Diagnose and repair hardware issues in desktops and laptops

• Replace faulty components such as RAM, hard drives, motherboards, and SMPS

• Perform formatting, OS installation, and driver setups

• Handle BIOS updates and basic chip-level inspections

• Provide on-site support at client locations when required

• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools

• Document repairs and submit daily reports

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of PC hardware components and architecture

• Experience with assembling, disassembling, and upgrading systems

• Familiarity with Windows installation, BIOS settings, and driver management

• Basic troubleshooting of peripherals like printers, monitors, and UPS

• Ability to identify faults quickly and offer reliable solutions

• Field visit readiness and good client-handling skills

• Knowledge of ESD safety and hardware handling best practices

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on skills and experience)

• Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad + on-site assignments within the city
